B1G1 - Making a difference with everything we do
Mayfield House is passionate about making a difference to people’s lives. Our motto is “we care because we care”, and we have made a commitment to deliver a wider impact, not just on the lives of our residents, but throughout the world!
How it works...
We are member of B1G1, which helps businesses achieve more social impact by embedding giving activities into everyday business operations.
We use this as a bonus for things achieved within the home, such as Employee of the Month, qualification completions and overtime shifts. That way, just by running the care home, we are also able to make a greater impact on making the world a better place to live.
Through our partnership with the Global Giving Initiative, we support various causes, including: ‘Good Health and Well-Being’, ‘Quality Education’, ‘Zero Hunger’, ‘Clean Water and Sanitation’ and ‘Responsible Consumption/Production’. It includes things like community support for older people and access to clean water.
